What to consider when choosing an air conditioner
Compare room size, noise level and service options with a simple rule.
An incorrectly sized air conditioner reduces comfort and can increase energy use. Consider sunlight, ceiling height and heat sources as well as floor area.
Match BTU to the room
Floor area is a useful starting point for standard rooms, but an installer should confirm the final calculation.
